Job Description

• Demonstrate and promote Inova's culture
• Demonstrate advanced skills in echocardiography with experience in Strain, 3D, TEE, and procedures
• Provide sonographer oversight to ensure high-quality studies with the support of the Echo Lab Supervisor
• Provide ongoing feedback and mentorship to sonographers
• Assist with the Inova Cardiology Fellowship Program
• Facilitate QI meetings
• Participate in research and educate team members on protocols
• Collaborate with Medical Director and Clinical Director to improve quality and processes
• Assist IAC Technical Director in accreditation

The lab has a full fleet of updated Philips machines with advanced 3D and strain imaging technology and offers regular educational opportunities to assist in developing your knowledge and skill set. Please apply to help lead our highly skilled team!

Requirements

• Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer AARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification or CCI Registered with Certification for Vascular. BLS, RCS Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with the RVS Upon Start; Basic Life Support Upon Start
• Experience: Five years' experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of cardiac or vascular sonography
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical setting sonography or five years of specialized training
