Inova Neurosurgery is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. Positions are available across multiple locations and shifts including PRN, part-time, and full-time opportunities. You can be considered for any position in the following counties/service areas in Northern Virginia:

• Arlington County
• Fairfax County
• Loudoun County
• Prince William County
• Alexandria City

Job Description

• The APP will be responsible for all aspects of the service, including daily rounds and progress notes, ER and inpatient consults, admissions and discharges, ordering and interpreting labs and radiologic studies, fielding phone calls from bedside nurses, multidisciplinary care coordination, and patient education. You may also perform procedures within the scope of practice and Inova Health System credentialing and privileges, including EVD and ICP monitor placement. Some opportunity exists for first-assisting in the OR, as service needs permit or require. The APP will work directly with the neurosurgeons.

Requirements

• Work schedule: Full-time/Part-Time/PRN
• Education: Graduate of an accredited program
• Certification: Board certified, BLS, Virginia License, DEA
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in neurosurgery
