Pulmonologist

Join our team as a full-time pulmonologist in North San Diego County. This position includes an outpatient clinic plus inpatient consults (1 week/month).

Job Description

• Board-certified in pulmonology and a California license is required.
• 2+ years' experience preferred.
• Work within a multi-specialty, not-for-profit group with strong colleague support.
• Utilize modern facilities and advanced technology.
• Salary: $300k+ W-2, with paid benefits.
• Optional ICU/critical care moonlighting averaging $125k/year.
• Enjoy a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Partnership track available after 1-2 years.
• Schedule consists of 4 days/week in the clinic and 1 week/month inpatient. Clinic patients may be scheduled on rounding days if service is slow.
• Flexible scheduling with a 5-provider collaborative team.
• Sick/vacation call is pre-planned, with partners or moonlighters providing coverage.
• Manage 12-14 clinic patients/day plus consults.
• All pulmonology procedures are supported, including ion robotic bronchoscopy for biopsies, with training offered.
• The group covers its own practice call, and the rounding physician handles inpatient calls. Moonlighters assist as needed during nights/weekends.
