Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

A non-profit organization in Manhattan seeks a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a split role in their 80-bed women's shelter and 54-unit residential program.

Job Description

• 21 hours per week in the shelter and 14 hours per week in the residential program for a full-time 35-hour work week.
• See women ages 45+ with a history of schizophrenia and schizo-affective disorders, major depression, and bipolar disorder in the shelter. Patients are stable with an average length of stay of 1-1.5 years. See approximately 8 patients per day with a maximum of 1-2 intakes.
• See men and women 18+ in the residential program. Patients have a background of homelessness. Approximately 6 patients per day with 1-2 intakes per month.
• Flexible with daily hours and weekly schedule (programs operate Monday-Sunday). Can be structured as a 4 or 5-day work week.
• Compensation of $300k + benefits.
