    Location: Oklahoma City, OK

    Job Description:

    • Responsible for all CT exams including imaging, interventional, and computerized reconstruction
    • Operate computed tomography equipment and perform a variety of technical procedures
    • Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals based on the level of patient contact

    Responsibilities:

    • Position and transfer patients in a timely manner while maintaining their safety
    • Develop film using automatic processing
    • Utilize surgical techniques for sterile procedures
    • Assist in equipment calibration and quality control
    • Administer radiographic contrast per physician requests and departmental policies
    • Evaluate when to consult a radiologist for contrast media administration
    • Complete initial IV setup, prep, and positioning for CT Scan

    Requirements:

    • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
    • Computed Tomography certification required within 12 months of hire
    • Current CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
    • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)

    Work Environment:

    • Exposure to moveable tables, film bins, needles, chemical fumes, radiation, and contagious diseases
    • Occasional exposure to odors, blood, chemical irritation, and inclement weather
    • May work erratic hours and overtime
