Location: Miami, Oklahoma
Job Description:
- Work within our Computed Tomography team providing exceptional care
- Perform a variety of complex imaging procedures independently
- Accurately perform veni-puncture and inject contrast using the pressure injector
- Assist radiologist during fluoroscopic and other special procedures requiring sterile technique
- Perform procedures in Surgery, ER, ICU, and other nursing units using portable equipment
- Practice radiation safety techniques and mark and label films correctly
Requirements:
- ARRT registration
- Graduation from an accredited program for Radiologic Technology as Registry Eligible and ARRT registered within 18 months
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics include exposure to germs, diseases, sharp objects, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and risk of exposure to radiation. Hostile or combative patients may be encountered. Exposure to various degrees of heat and cold may also be encountered. The noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform job functions.
