RN Supervisor
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Job Description:
- Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day supervision of clinical staff, including ancillary staff members
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements in the clinical setting
- Manage staffing schedules for all clinical staff
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact
Responsibilities:
- Supervise department staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance and competence, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed
- Collaborate with Clinic Administrator in the development of the 10-year plan and annual budget
- Assume responsibility for the Clinic Administrator in their absence
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards for nursing (JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Responsible for patient safety and risk management for the clinic; identify high-risk situations and initiate the problem-solving process
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state in good standing
- BLS Certification
- 2 years of experience as an RN
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively (Verbal/Written)
