    Job Description:

    • Work 7p-7a with the Float Pool team providing exceptional care
    • Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process
    • Required to float to various units as needed and participate in on-call status
    • Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals based on patient contact level

    Responsibilities:

    • Assessment and re-assessments
    • Develop and implement the plan of care
    • Evaluate patient care interventions
    • Supervise and coordinate care delegation to licensed and non-licensed personnel
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students
    • Ensure a hazard-free physical environment for self and others

    Requirements:

    • Current RN licensure in Oklahoma or multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact member
    • 3 years RN patient care experience in a hospital setting OR 1 year with ECMO/LVAD certification
    • Current BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days
    • Current ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification based on competency or within 90 days
    • Effective communication skills in English
    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for operating a personal vehicle
    • Additional qualifications required for specialty area assignments such as Critical Care, Emergency Department, etc.
    • Department-specific competencies completed during orientation

    Schedule Expectations:

    • Work all shifts assigned by float pool leader, including mid-shift
    • Float to different departments and facilities as needed
    • Work a minimum of 48 hours per week, including four weekend shifts per month
    • Must work all holidays during the assignment period
