On-Call Interventional Cardiologist

Join our team as an On-Call Interventional Cardiologist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This position offers 7on-7off shifts from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with no call after 7:00 AM. The majority of call volume consists of established patients, and the group has been thriving for over 40 years, primarily working out of two local hospitals. There is no clinical work involved, and the call volume is low, requiring hospital visits only for exceptional circumstances.

Job Description

• Provide on-call interventional cardiology services
• Manage established patients with minimal clinical work

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible
• This is a full-time permanent role (no locum or per diem accepted)
• Group is very comfortable with physicians coming into town to work for the week
