    Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist

    The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, have strong clinical skills in both inpatient and outpatient Perinatology, and strong sonography and prenatal diagnostic skills. This is a consultative-only practice with one office location based out of a 400-bed state-of-the-art Level-I Trauma Center with a Level-III NICU and helicopter transport service. The group provides prenatal diagnostic procedures including ultrasounds, amniocentesis, CVS, and fetal echocardiography. The group works collaboratively with OB Hospitalists and is fully staffed with 2.5 MFMs.

    Days in the office are Monday through Friday, with on-call at night (mostly phone coverage) every third week. Candidates must have strong ultrasound skills as there is limited sonographer support in this practice. Research opportunities exist with an affiliation with the University of California Santa Barbara.

    Requirements

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years from residency) in OB/GYN
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years from residency) in Maternal Fetal Medicine subspecialty
    • CA License (or willing to obtain)
    • Fellowship-trained with inpatient and outpatient Perinatology experience
    • Strong ultrasound/sonography and prenatal diagnostic skills
    • COVID vaccinated - REQUIRED
