Job Description

• Coverage needed: ASAP - ongoing

• Locum to perm

• Call is 30-minute response time

• Schedule:

  • Friday: 1st Friday of the week
    • 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm - In House
    • 5:00 pm - 7:00 am - Night Call
  • Saturday:
    • 7:00 am - 7:00 am - 24-hour call
  • Sunday:
    • 7:00 am - 7:00 am - 24-hour call
  • Monday-Wednesday:
    • 7:00 am - 5:00 pm - In House
  • Thursday:
    • 7:00 am - 5:00 pm - In House
    • 5:00 pm - 7:00 am - Night Call
  • Friday: 2nd Friday of the week
    • In House: 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
    • Relieved by next provider at noon

• Exact weeks needed:

  • April 18 - 25
  • May 16 - 23
  • June 06 - 13
  • September 20 - 27
  • October 11 - 18
  • November 15 - 22
  • December 13 - 20
  • December 23 - 26

Clinical Details

• Average of 10-12 patients per day
• 5-7 new consults
• 3-5 inpatient procedures, with 2 potential outpatient procedures
• 250-bed hospital
• EMR: EPIC
• Support staff:
  • APP hospital coverage Monday - Friday (7:30 am - 3:30 pm)
• Life support certifications required:
  • ABLS
  • ATLS
  • BLS
  • PALS

Requirements

• Board certified
• Active PA license
