Hematology/Oncology Physician

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Job Description

• Daily patient volume: 10-12 patients per day, 1-3 inpatients per day
• Mix of hematology vs oncology: 30% hematology and 70% oncology
• 3 additional MDs on staff
• IM department admits approximately 1300 patients yearly
• Equipment: chemotherapy is given in the inpatient & outpatient settings as well as in the inpatient's home "service unit"
• Responsible for provision of consultative & direct care services both inpatient & outpatient
• Hospital environment including medical wards, ICU, Radiology & Angiography laboratories & outpatient clinic

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Any active state license accepted
• Provider must be able to provide at least 5 consecutive days of coverage
