OB/GYN Coverage

We are seeking coverage for an OB/GYN position with specific scheduling needs and clinical details outlined below.

Job Description

• Schedule: 24-hour call (7a-7a)
  • Site will not schedule providers more than 2-3 day stints
• Specific Dates: Dec 23 (7a) - 25 (7a)
  • Ongoing dates will be determined as schedules are released
• Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room, Call Trauma Level III
• Required Procedures/Job Duties: GYN Emergencies, Obstetrics including C-section
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: RN
• Census: Patient population, Adolescent, Adult
• Number of beds: 8
• Admissions: 1 per day
• In-house anesthesia
• Number of deliveries per month: 30
• Covering an OB/GYN practice, backing up family practice; for family practice, no midwives

Requirements

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Active CO license or Active IMLC (LOQ in hand)
• Active DEA (Highly Preferred)
  • Will consider a transferred DEA; however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked
• Availability for the specified dates
• Willing and able to work 24-hour shifts
• Local/drive-in candidates only (Highly Preferred)
• OB/GYN Residency
• Clean malpractice/background or up to $100k in malpractice settlements, but must have a clean background
