Join our team as a Radiologist, providing essential imaging services in a supportive environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of procedures and a collaborative team.

Job Description

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• End Date: Ongoing, one week (five consecutive days) per month
• 2 weeks per month 7a-7p, M-F (site will also consider 8hr days if preferred)
• Weekend Requirements: Potentially

Clinical Details

• Onsite radiology procedures including diagnostic mammograms, breast biopsies, barium enemas, small bowel follow-through, upper GI, epidural steroid injections, abscess drainage, and Medicare overreads
• Read images between procedures
• Required Procedures: Breast localization for OR with magseed/magtrace; willing to learn: breast cyst aspirations, stereotactic breast biopsies, arthrograms/joint aspirations/joint injections, CT cystograms, PICC line placement, lumbar punctures, hysterosalpingograms, bone marrow biopsy
  • Ultrasound biopsy of lymph nodes, muscle, kidney, thyroid, abscess drainage
• Preferred Procedures: ESI, SI injections, facet injections
• Average daily census 12.7; licensed for 25 inpatient beds which includes OB and an additional 19 observation beds
• 5-10 procedures per day
• Diagnostic mammograms 2-4 days each month
• EMR: Meditech
• Support Staff: External company for imaging reads, done remotely
• Support 3 general surgeons; 2 orthopedic surgeons; 1 FP provider with OB and 3 OB/GYN providers with an average of 50-60 births per month; Level 4 trauma center

Requirements

• Board Certified in Radiology
• North Dakota License or Compact License with LOQ in hand
• ACLS, BLS, DEA, MQSA certifications
• Clean malpractice/background preferred
