Job Description

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Overnight hospital-based coverage, approximately 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirements: Weekend call coverage 2-3 weekends per month, 24-hour coverage
• On Call Requirements: 24-hour cardiovascular surgery call coverage during scheduled nights and weekends
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based/rounding
• Number of Operating Rooms: 16
• Number of Cases per Day: 2
• Trauma Level: Level 2
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult and geriatric
• Procedures/Surgeries Required:
  • Aneurysm Repair
  • Carotid Artery Endarterectomy (CEA)
  • Femoral Bypass Surgery
  • Fistula
  • Endovascular and Open Surgical Reconstruction for Deep Vein Occlusions
  • Endovascular Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)
  • Endovascular Therapy for Gangrene of the Limbs
• Additional Vascular Conditions Treated:
  • Vascular Malformations
  • Nutcracker Syndrome
  • Lymphedema
  • Vinas wounds, carotid stents, varicose veins

Requirements

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Completion of Vascular Surgery Fellowship
• Active PA license (Willingness to obtain PA license)
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Clean Malpractice History
• Local Provider - Preferred
