    Psychotherapist for Crown Heights Connect Program

    IDCC is seeking experienced psychotherapists (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) to treat adults with a variety of mental health issues. Therapists should be available on Sundays; weekday and evening shifts as those time slots are open as well. Weekly supervision is provided.

    The Connect Program is focused on working with clients who have been recently released from incarceration or are pending services/stepping down from intensive mobile treatment services. This role is in person and is expected to provide home/community-based treatment services for clients.

    Job Description

    • Conduct intakes.
    • Provide individual, group, couples, and/or family therapy.
    • Provide services in home, community, clinic, and via telehealth.
    • Coordinate and provide case management services as needed.
    • Maintain up-to-date progress notes, correspondence regarding patient, treatment plans, and termination summaries within expected timeframes.
    • Develop and coordinate implementation of treatment plan collaboratively with patient.
    • Collaborate with other providers to provide the best possible client care.
    • Participate in utilization review and quality improvement review.
    • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients with a variety of mental health concerns.
    • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
    • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to address client issues.
    • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
    • Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of psychotherapy.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
    • Current state licensure as a Psychotherapist or eligibility for licensure (LMHC, LMSW, LCSW).
    • Experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of mental health issues.
    • Knowledge of different therapeutic modalities and approaches.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
    • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
    • Proficient in data collection and analysis for treatment planning purposes.
