    Job Description

    As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will be a part of an employed Medical Group Gastroenterology practice serving Utah County. We have a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care in Utah County, and we have a team-based GI practice model with physician, APP, and nurse teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations. We will help support you in building your GI practice.

    • This position includes a starting base salary of $600,000 annually with production incentives, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance based on distance; student loan repayment and a $1,500 monthly training stipend and future ASC opportunities are also available.
    • You will practice at our Utah Valley Hospital location.
    • Call schedule is shared with the group and expected at a minimum of 1:5 with additional call pay for extra call shifts and opportunity for a 4-day work week.
    • You will have the opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and will lead in developing new academic programs. Leadership opportunities will be available.

    Requirements

    • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
    • Residency training in Internal Medicine
    • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology
    • ERCP is welcomed but not required for this position
    • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
    • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
    • Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
