Job Description

• As a Classical Hematology Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
• In this role, you will diagnose and manage classical (non-malignant) hematologic conditions, provide inpatient consultative services, develop individualized treatment plans, longitudinal management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in or lead clinical research initiatives in classical hematology and contribute to growing out the hematology program.
• This position includes a $50,000 sign-on bonus, $20,000 in relocation assistance, up to $36,000 residency stipend, and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable.
• You will practice at Intermountain Health LDS Hospital and provide coverage at Riverton, Alta View, and Layton Hospitals.
• Your clinic hours will be 8 am - 5 pm four days a week with one admin day.
• Participate in a shared call rotation, ensuring continuity of care for our patients.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology or Medical Oncology.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in non-malignant hematologic disorders.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
