Join our team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, where you will examine and treat patients to assure continuity of care.

Job Description

• Make assessments of each patient, including presenting problems, medical history, allergies, psycho-social issues, medications, and current living arrangements of individuals and their families.
• Review abnormal lab values and plan appropriate disposition/treatment in the absence of the primary physician.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
• Identify the need for client/family teaching and/or referrals.
• Prioritize patient needs based on assessment and the patient's verbalized areas of concern.
• Develop a plan for teaching based on mutual goals that address patients' assessed and stated needs.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Psychiatric Medicine from an accredited program.
• Must be licensed in MA or have the ability to be licensed and maintain a clean record.
