A smaller hospital about an hour from Galesburg, IL is looking for an Athletic Trainer to join their team. Open to new grads!

Job Description

• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
• Shifts: Variable Day Shifts with some weekends as needed
• Travel: Travel to local schools for games and events

Responsibilities

• Athletic Screenings & Injury Management: Conducts screenings at schools, hospitals, and outpatient facilities; provides injury assessments and makes recommendations to athletes, coaches, parents, and physicians
• Collaboration & Training: Works with the rehabilitation team (physicians, PTs, OTs) to develop training guidelines and modifications for athletes and coaches
• Game Coverage & Rehabilitation: Provides on-site coverage during athletic events and assists with rehabilitation under the supervision of licensed therapists

Requirements

• Licensure in Illinois or eligibility for licensure is required
• Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association is required
• Current CPR and progress toward ACLS certification
• Clinic and field experience is preferred
• Telemetry training preferred

• Pay Range: $22-34/hr
