Anesthesiologist Locums Job

Join our team for an Anesthesiologist locum position at a hospital and ASC in Goshen, Indiana, starting February 3rd and ongoing.

Job Description

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Call is from 3:30 pm - 7 am. Primary call shifts are in-house, with secondary call shifts being beeper call (30 minutes). Call is 3 weeknights per month, potentially more as the assignment continues.
• In-house call provider will have an anesthesia-only call room.
• Case mix includes mostly General, Endo, Ortho, Urology, High-risk OB (including VBACs), GYN, Cancer, Live. Some Vascular, ENT Radiology with Anesthesia, Cosmetics, Podiatry, Pulmonary, and very light Cardiac (TEE and Brain-Back). Endo is mainly at the ASC with about 2100 cases per year.
• High case volume. All providers work their own cases, including high-risk OB as mentioned above, with approximately 1300 births per year.
• Proficiency and case logs for spinals, epidurals, and blocks are required.
• Team consists of 6 CRNAs and 4 MDs daily. One provider is off on post-call day from first call.
• 8 ORs available.
• EMR: Medaxion.
