Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Central Florida

We are seeking a Florida-licensed Nurse Practitioner with experience in Level 2 NICU and Newborn Nursery for a locum position in Central Florida. The position offers flexible scheduling with a commitment of 4-6 shifts per month.

Job Description

• Independently manage newborn nursery babies during the day (Neonatologist handles NICU care)
• Respond to emergencies in both the newborn nursery and NICU during the night, with a Neonatologist on call from home within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Requirements

• Florida License (active and in good standing)
• Proven track record with a company providing positive feedback
• Ability to perform the following independently: Thoracentesis and/or Chest Tube Placement (including removal), Endotracheal Intubation, Umbilical Artery or Vein Catheterization
