OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in North Carolina

Join our team for a call-only OB/GYN physician locum tenens position in North Carolina. This opportunity offers flexible coverage dates and a supportive environment for delivering quality care.

Job Description

• Coverage dates:
  • 7am 2/28/25 to 7am 3/3/25
  • 7am 3/7/25 to 7am 3/10/25
  • 7am 3/14/25 to 7am 3/17/25
  • 7am 3/21/25 to 7am 3/24/25
• Active North Carolina license required and NRP, BLS certification required
• Board certification required
• Call hours are from 7am to 7am for both weekdays and weekends
• Not required to be on-site all day, but will need to round daily and be available for all deliveries and emergency OB/GYN related surgeries
• Surgical cases per month: approximately 14
• Deliveries per month: 30-40
• Procedures include: C-section, circumcision, postpartum tubals, vaginal deliveries, D&C, and laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy
• Facility features three labor rooms, 16 patient rooms, and six newborn beds, with two AWHONN Fetal Monitoring instructors
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Level 1 Nursery available
