Gastroenterologist Locums Call Coverage

Location: Virginia Coast

Job Description:

• Provide bread and butter GI locum tenens coverage
• Immediate dates needing GI call coverage support: December 31 at 8AM - January 6 at 8AM (24-hour call coverage ONLY)
• Additional dates needed in 2025 (call coverage & may also include some weekday outpatient scopes):
  • Wednesday, 1/15 at 8AM - Friday, 1/17 at 8AM
  • Monday, 1/20 at 8AM - Monday, 1/27 at 8AM
  • Wednesday, 2/5 at 8AM - Friday, 2/7 at 8AM
  • Wednesday, 2/12 at 8AM - Monday, 2/17 at 8AM
  • Wednesday, 2/19 at 8AM - Monday, 2/24 at 8AM
  • Wednesday, 2/26 at 8AM - Monday, 3/3 at 8AM
  • Wednesday, 3/5 at 8AM - Monday, 3/10 at 8AM
  • Wednesday, 3/12 at 8AM - Monday, 3/17 at 8AM
  • Wednesday, 3/19 at 8AM - Friday, 3/21 at 8AM
  • Wednesday, 4/2 at 8AM - Monday, 4/7 at 8AM

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Virginia license and DEA required
• Active Board Certification required
• Seeking call coverage; Start + end time 8A - 8A
• On standard (non-holiday weeks) the facility may request assistance with scheduled scopes/outpatient procedures
• Caseload: average 10-15 patients/day, 0-2 procedures/day, average one scheduled procedure/day
• Two Endo suites, lab onsite, x-ray onsite
• 150+ bed facility, Epic EMR
