Job Description

• Board Certified or Eligible
• Active Virginia license or IMLC. BLS certification.
• Clean malpractice can get privileges in 1 week; hospital privileging requires 100 deliveries and 50 gyn cases within the past 24 months
• Type of coverage: ED Call OB/GYN cases
• Support staff available: 6 RNs + 1 NP
• Call response time: 30 minutes, beeper
• Average phone consults: 2
• Average patients per shift: 4
• Admissions: 2; EMR: Meditech & Athena
