Radiology Locums Job

Location: North Dakota

Job Description:

• Start as soon as credentialed for one week per month
• Schedule: 7am-7pm, Monday through Friday
• Onsite to complete minor procedures and reads such as:
  • Diagnostic mammograms
  • Breast biopsy
  • Barium enema
  • Small bowel follow-through
  • Upper GI
  • Epidural steroid injection
  • Abscess drainage
  • Medicare over-reads
• EMR: Meditech
• 25 bed CAH hospital with an average daily census of 12.7; licensed for 25 inpatient beds including OB, with an additional 19 observation beds

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Radiology
• North Dakota license required or IMLC (with LOQ in hand)
• ATLS, ACLS, BLS, DEA - Must have or obtain during credentialing
• Malpractice Clean Preferred
• Availability at the time of name clear required

Required Procedures:

• Breast localization for OR with magseed/magtrace
• Willing to learn: breast cyst aspirations, stereotactic breast biopsies
• Arthrograms/Joint Aspirations/Joint Injections
• CT Cystograms
• PICC Line placement
• Lumbar punctures
• Hysterosalpingograms
• Bone Marrow Biopsy
• Ultrasound biopsy of lymph nodes, muscle, kidney, thyroid, abscess drainage
• ESI, SI injections, Facet injections (not all radiologists perform all injections, but proficiency in as many as possible is preferred)
