Job Description:
- Provides comprehensive social services to enhance the mental and emotional health of clients and community members.
- Reports to the Director of Clinical Services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides counseling and psychotherapy services, including intake assessments and diagnostic evaluation.
- Possesses knowledge of DSM V diagnosis and trauma-sensitive treatment modalities.
- Understands a variety of theoretical approaches, group processes, and client advocacy.
- Knowledgeable about family, domestic, and sexual violence dynamics.
- Demonstrates understanding of familial issues related to family violence, separation, and divorce.
- Possesses strong Trauma Informed knowledge and skills.
- Provides information and referrals to resources as needed.
- Offers on-site counseling services at various clinics.
- Maintains client records and statistical data in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborates with agency personnel and external professionals.
- Participates actively in supervisory and peer review processes.
- Works independently and organizes workload effectively.
- Maintains client confidentiality.
- Engages in professional growth and shares knowledge with colleagues.
- Represents the agency in the community.
- Maintains active licensure in good standing and complies with licensure requirements.
General:
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about Jewish culture and agency population.
- Accepts additional duties as assigned.
- Successfully passes required background checks.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Holds a valid Wisconsin License (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in good standing.
- Eligible for third-party billing.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, EHR, and communication systems within HIPAA standards.
