    Pediatric Operating Room Nurse

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is a premiere clinical and academic health system, providing expert pediatric care for infants, children, and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems. We are the Children's Hospital in Florida and nationally ranked in specialties that include cardiology, endocrinology, and more!

    The Operating Room features 10 fully equipped surgical rooms and 2 special procedure rooms serving patients of all acuity levels. Our busiest specialties are ENT, urology, and ortho, but we also see many cases in general surgery, plastics, GI, neurosurgery, dental, and ophthalmology.

    Shifts: 40 hours per week, flexible hours. On call required.

    Work location: St. Petersburg, Florida.

    Job Description

    • Provide high-quality nursing care in a pediatric operating room setting.
    • Collaborate with an interprofessional team to deliver first-class patient care using advanced evidence-based practices.
    • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios for the highest quality of care.
    • Utilize flexible self-scheduling options to balance work, family, and personal life.

    Requirements

    • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing preferred; applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain a BSN within 36 months of hire.
    • Registered Nurse (RN) required; Florida State or Compact License required.
    • A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
    • Preferred experience in a pediatric operating room.
    • BLS certification provided by AHA.

    Salary Range: Minimum $35.56/hour - Maximum $52.80/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
