    Neuro-Critical Care Physician

    TTUHSC El Paso's Department of Neurology seeks a Neuro-Critical Care Physician to provide inpatient and outpatient neurology services, including the management of critically ill neurological patients and stroke consults. This faculty role involves resident and medical student education, research, and institutional governance.

    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive neuro-critical care at outpatient clinics and affiliated hospitals.
    • Manage stroke consults and critically ill neurological patients in hospital settings.
    • Teach and mentor neurology residents and medical students.
    • Engage in research, scholarly activities, and institutional service.
    • Ensure HIPAA and billing compliance while adhering to institutional policies.

    Requirements

    • M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in Neurology (ABPN).
    • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency and a Neuro-Critical Care Fellowship.
    • Texas medical license (or eligibility).
    • Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish/English), regional/national recognition in neuro-critical care, and academic teaching experience.
