Job Description

• Consistently deliver the best in customer service and patient care.
• Comply with the mission, vision, values, policies, procedures, ethical standards, and code of conduct set forth by the company.
• Always verify physician orders prior to completing examinations.
• Perform C.T. examinations according to the patient’s physician after verifying the physician's orders.
• Conduct invasive procedures according to established protocols, allowing for any special instructions from the Radiologist or patient’s physician.
• Complete tube warm-ups as needed.
• Assure that all call result exams are sent to the Radiologist as soon as the exam is finished.
• At the beginning and end of each shift, ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked for the daily schedule.
• Advise the supervisor of supplies needed for ordering.
• Always perform venipuncture according to established protocols.
• Document accurate patient information pertinent to the exam being performed.
• Assure patient comfort and recognize their needs and concerns during their encounter.
• Perform accurate computer functions.
• Report any equipment malfunctions immediately.

Requirements

• One year of CT experience preferred. Candidates do not need to have acute care experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred.
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School.
