CT Technologist

Join our team as a CT Technologist in a permanent, full-time position. This role involves performing a variety of technical procedures applying computerized ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology.

Job Description

• Perform duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying computerized ionizing radiation.
• Operate the CT equipment safely and maintain A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures.
• Be current in Radiologic (X-ray) positioning and perform X-rays in the ER and department when asked.
• Participate in the establishment of scan protocols and execution of specific applications, and be responsible for contrast administration.
• Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.
• Position requires call.

Requirements

• One year of CT experience preferred. Candidates do not need to have acute care experience.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; (CT) preferred.
• State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
