Director of Diagnostic Imaging

The Director of Radiology has the responsibility of planning, directing, coordinating, and managing resources (human, material, and financial) to drive high quality, high service/satisfaction, and cost-efficient care. The Director is responsible for all tasks and duties that relate to the department and how the department is perceived by stakeholders. The director will oversee all functions related to outpatient and inpatient imaging and appropriate supports departments and leaders whose patient population requires imaging services.

Job Description

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and manage resources for high quality, high service/satisfaction, and cost-efficient care
• Oversee all functions related to outpatient and inpatient imaging
• Manage the department's perception by stakeholders

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology technology or other imaging field (ultrasound, nuclear medicine) required
• 5+ years of radiology/imaging leadership experience in an acute care setting
• BLS required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Must have one of the following: ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS
