We are seeking a Hematology Medical Technologist to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for performing complex laboratory tests in the hematology department, ensuring accurate and timely results for patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during the overnight shift.

Job Description

• Perform routine and specialized hematology tests with precision and accuracy.
• Analyze blood samples to detect abnormalities and assist in diagnosing diseases.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot hematology laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with pathologists, medical professionals, and laboratory staff.
• Accurately document and report test results in the laboratory information system (LIS).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), Medical Technology (MT), or a related field.
• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or equivalent required.
• Experience in hematology laboratory testing preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on 3rd shift.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and quality assurance practices.
