Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Technician (MT/MLT) 1 hour outside of Indianapolis, IN!

MT/MLT

MT/MLT needed 1 hour outside of Indianapolis, Indiana for permanent and full-time hire! This individual is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results. Testing performed will include waived, moderate, and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. He/she will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. In addition, this individual will participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, and other applicable agencies. He/she will perform specimen collection as necessary.

Job Description

• Responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results
• Perform waived, moderate, and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director
• Report results of all tests performed according to established procedures
• Participate fully in all quality control procedures
• Comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department
• Perform specimen collection as necessary

Requirements

• MLT: Associate's degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
• MT: Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university, or a Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences with at least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred
