    Job Description:

    • Responsible for the assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care during assigned shifts
    • Facilitate, precept, and mentor staff and team members to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills
    • Continuously assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts
    • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients
    • Demonstrate professionalism, meet regulatory and policy requirements, engage standards of practice, and hold team members accountable for safe, competent practice and quality care
    • Reports to Clinical Nurse Manager

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required within 3 years of hire
    • Registered Nurse; current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
    • Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience
    • Work hours: days or nights with weekend commitment
    • CPR required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC per unit requirement (if required and not current, must be obtained within 6 months of employment)
    • Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
    • Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior
    • Must be passionate about nursing and teamwork
