Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Representing a team of 15 cardiologists, you will be the sole Nurse Practitioner at night handling consults, admissions, and rounding for cardiology patients. With 12-hour night shifts that overlap with our day shift nurse practitioners and physician assistants, you can be certain the patient flow will be consistent. Centrally located, our hospital serves over 300,000 people and our community offers endless outdoor options like hiking, biking, rafting, and horseback riding with easy access to Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.

Job Description

• Handle consults, admissions, and rounding for cardiology patients during night shifts

Compensation and Benefits

• Up to $180,000 salary
• $1,200 bonus for extra shifts (over 14 per month)
• Up to $15,000 sign-on and relocation bonus
• $2,500 + 1 week CME allowance

• Nights, 1900 - 0700
• 14 shifts per month
• Self-schedule
• No call

Requirements

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Unrestricted Tennessee license
• 3 years of experience in an acute care cardiac setting as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
• Those with cardiac-heavy experience as a Hospitalist or Critical Care NP are invited to apply
• New grad NPs with tenured experience as an RN in acute cardiac are invited to apply
