General Gastroenterologist

University of Kentucky HealthCare is actively recruiting a full-time General Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic academic team. Faculty positions are full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure track, with academic rank commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and a passion for advancing the field of gastroenterology. Full-Time 90% Clinical, 5% Teaching, 5% Professional Development.

Job Description

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or equivalent.
• Completion of Gastroenterology fellowship training program.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Kentucky.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine and teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in academic or teaching hospital settings.
