Physical Therapist

Seeking experienced Physical Therapists to provide physical therapy to special needs children ages 2 years, 9 months to 5 years at the Joan Fenichel Therapeutic Nursery and ages 5 - 21 in our school-age program at the League School.

Job Description

• Evaluate and provide therapy services to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Keep up-to-date records
• Conduct assessments as needed
• Participate in team meetings and parent training
• Administer services as per IEP mandates
• Maintain proper documentation of evaluation, treatment sessions, and progress of children
• Screen and evaluate children to determine the need for services and make appropriate recommendations
• Prepare and update IEPs

Requirements

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy
• 2-3 years' experience with children (pediatrics) with developmental disabilities preferred
• NYS Licensed

Benefits

• Pay: $70.00 per hour

• Schedule: Day shift, no weekends
