Job Description
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to improve patient mental health outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and deliver effective treatment plans.
- Adhere to scheduled hours and engage actively with patients in clinical settings.
- Meet productivity benchmarks as designed by the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Behavioral Health.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols.
- Be available for guidance during and outside of clinic hours as scheduled.
- Contribute to the creation and review of patient educational materials.
- Supervise health care students in clinical settings for educational growth.
- Develop and sustain a clinical quality assurance program.
- Coordinate care with non-physician providers, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans.
- Engage with colleagues and specialists for consultation where necessary.
- Participate actively in meetings and the Performance Improvement Program.
- Fulfill additional tasks as assigned, contributing to the clinic's overall success.
Requirements
- Must possess a Medical Doctorate and be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Psychiatry.
- Adhere to the Code of Ethics and pursue continuing education to maintain licensure.
- Maintain good standing with the professional licensing board.
- Exhibit sensitivity and competence with diverse populations served.
- Demonstrates effective communication with staff, community, and the public.
- Capability to maintain composure during stressful situations.
- Successful clearance of a criminal background check is required.
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
