    Location: Midlands of South Carolina

    Job Description:

    • Serve as an administrative liaison and resource person throughout the practice
    • Facilitate, coordinate, and oversee the process of patient care
    • Responsible for clinical staff, staff assignments, vacation calendar, department orientation of new staff, and patient education
    • Provide support and guidance for clinical policies and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory agency requirements

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
    • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years of clinical experience (At least 2 Years of experience in areas of specialty or related medical setting within the past 5 years)
    • Required Certifications/Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina; Current CPR Certification
    • Required Training: Demonstrates basic first aid knowledge

    Essential Functions:

    • Facilitate, coordinate, and oversee the process of patient care
    • Maintain a positive attitude and ensure harmonious relationships through effective communication
    • Demonstrate appropriate communication of information to patients/caregivers and responsiveness to all requests
    • Responsible for medication management duties as directed by physician
    • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring compliance with equipment cleaning and sterilization procedures
    • Room patients, conduct patient assessments, assist with procedures, and implement physician orders
    • Manage human resources to assure safe and effective operations
    • Assess human resource needs and evaluate employee activities for fiscally sound operations

    Professional Development:

    • Identify educational needs of nursing staff and provide input into educational programs
    • Set an example for clinical staff by ensuring all personal certification and mandatory education requirements are met
    • Communicate effectively throughout the practice and with other departments
