Job Description

• Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammography imaging independently, following hospital policies and under the supervision of an interpreting physician.
• Demonstrate knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, medical terminology, and ensure accurate positioning, exposure techniques, and image evaluation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, federal regulations, and quality assurance policies for mammography practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified by the ARRT in Mammography.
• Must have received/applied for South Carolina state license with SCRQSA.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR certifications.
• Personal computer skills and able to perform required functions in current hospital computer systems and PACS.
