    Job Description:

    • Provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
    • Follow occupational treatment plans for patients under the direction of the supervising OT
    • Chart appropriately and timely
    • Utilize therapy software accurately
    • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
    • Assist in the evacuation of patients
    • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
    • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team

    Requirements:

    • NBCOT certified upon hire, renewal optional
    • Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
    • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; must maintain active license
    • One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred
    • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; must remain current

    Specific Job Requirements:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
    • Liaison with patients, families, support departments to plan for patient needs
    • Demonstrate good body mechanics
    • Make independent decisions when necessary
    • Knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, and regulations in post-acute care
    • Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
