Job Description

• Be the only Heart Failure Cardiologist in Southern New Mexico, delivering highly specialized care in a growing community.
• Manage complex cases, utilize cutting-edge therapies, and shape individualized treatment plans to improve quality of life for patients.
• Partner with transplant surgeons, nurses, dietitians, and social workers for comprehensive patient care.
• Enjoy work-life balance with a clinic schedule of Monday to Thursday (8 AM - 5 PM) and Friday (8 AM - 4 PM) and a call schedule of 1:7 general cardiology.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited cardiology fellowship.
• Advanced fellowship training or certification in heart failure and transplant cardiology.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Preferred skills include expertise in cardiac imaging (MRI, advanced echocardiography), experience in clinical research or enthusiasm for clinical trials, and familiarity with the latest heart failure guidelines and technologies.
