Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description
- Perform professional speech pathology by assessing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Evaluate swallowing and communication skills of patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with other care teams to achieve the best outcomes for the patient.
Requirements
- Education: Master's Degree from an accredited speech language pathology program.
- Experience: Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred. Experience working in EPIC EMR preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Current Speech Language Pathologist state license, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Possess documentation skills, have excellent verbal communication, provide satisfactory patient services, be a team player, demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
