    Job Description

    • Provide individual and group therapy using a variety of modalities: CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT, and MI
    • Complete and maintain individual and group therapy notes and documentation
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with external customers, families, clients, and employees
    • Provide assessment and participate in the treatment planning with clients and their families/significant others
    • Facilitate and evaluate outcome measurements and adjust interventions and treatment plans accordingly
    • Adapt therapy to meet the individual needs of clients based on their reactions and expressed needs
    • Discuss progress toward treatment goals with clients
    • Assist and facilitate discharge planning and community outreach
    • Initiate, facilitate, and promote on-site activities, therapeutic support, educational groups, and community meetings
    • Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required
    • Attend and participate in staff meetings and monthly trainings

    Requirements

    • Master's degree or master's intern in clinical psychology or social work
    • Therapist License: LMFT, MFT, LCSW, LSW, LCPC, or LPC
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain
    • Must successfully complete Background Check, Drug Screen, and TB Test

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience and/or education in chemical and alcohol dependency and abuse
    • Ability to use motivational interviewing to reinforce client's power to make change
    • Knowledge of HIPAA
    • Experience and/or education with crisis management
    • Skills and competency in working with clients, from undertaking clinical assessments to planning and delivery of care
    • Ability to work well within a team and independently
    • Effective communication skills, time management, ability to problem solve, and strong professional boundaries
    • Sensitivity to religious, ethnic, and cultural differences
    • Knowledge of CBT, DBT, 12-step recovery, and other evidence-based theories is a plus

    Physical Requirements

    • Light lifting, able to walk up and down stairs, and extended periods of time sitting
