    Job Description

    • Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload
    • Document, monitor, analyze, and report students' progress and effects of treatment regularly in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures
    • Conduct educationally relevant evaluations and report findings within Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs)
    • Write educationally relevant therapy goals and relevant student information background information within Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs)
    • Attend and report evaluation findings and therapy recommendations in family-friendly language during IEP and ETR meetings
    • Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and learning culture through collaboration and ongoing communication between school personnel and families
    • Maintain documentation of ongoing therapy minutes and report due-dates
    • Complete necessary Medicaid billing in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures

    Requirements

    • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology
    • Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio
    • Valid driver's license
    • Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending, and understanding the English language
    • Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
    • Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire)
    • Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body
    • Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and able to work well with others
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices
    • Must be able to handle stressful situations
