Family Practice or General Medicine Physician

Locums, Inc. is seeking a Family Practice or General Medicine Physician for full-time services at the Pinon, AZ hospital working with the native Navajo people. The position is for 1 month with multiple extensions possible. All valid state or Federal licenses are acceptable. Board certified and board eligible physicians in Family Medicine and General Medicine are both accepted.

Job Description

• Period of performance is approximately 4/15/22 to 5/15/22 with extensions available until 12/31/22
• 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday with minimal overtime
• Estimated 3 patients per hour
• 70% adult and 30% pediatric patient volume
• Provide local populace with family medical care services in an outpatient and telemedicine setting
• Pinon Health Center is part of the Chinle, AZ hospital group. Lodgings will be in Chinle, AZ
• Located near the Canyon de Chelly National Monument, perfect for the outdoor enthusiast with access to spectacular biking, hiking, and fishing

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted state or Federal license
• Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or General Medicine
• Active and unrestricted DEA
• Active CPR/BLS, ACLS, ATLS, & PALS certifications mandatory
• Full vaccinations and immunizations
• 3 references
• Must have been practicing within discipline within the last 6 months
