Locums, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatrist for long-term contract placement with a client in Meridian, MS. Mississippi state Psychiatry license and Board certification are needed.

Job Description

• Period of performance is approximately 5/1/20 to 4/30/22 with 1 additional year option
• Annual salary increases
• 40-hour work week with no overtime/nights/weekends
• Hospital located in downtown Meridian
• Psychiatrist duties to include admission, evaluation, and treatment for a full range of psychiatric disorders
• Will be responsible for helping to train psychiatric nurse practitioners and prescribing medications

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Mississippi state license
• Board Certified or have completed a residency in Psychiatry
• Active DEA registration
