    Job Description

    • Work with the underserved population and those experiencing significant barriers to care.
    • Grow a practice where you decide the best therapeutic modalities for your patients and work with them on achieving their therapeutic goals in an outpatient setting.
    • Provide individual therapy both in person and virtually, with the option to provide family, group, and couple's therapy.
    • Collaborate with patients and effectively communicate clinical impressions while assessing strengths, barriers, and psychosocial needs.
    • Interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety.
    • Utilize extensive knowledge of DSM-5-TR for diagnoses and care planning.
    • Document efficiently using an electronic health record and conduct telemedicine visits.

    Requirements

    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas (Required).
    • Ability to work independently in a group setting while seeking support and consultation from colleagues.
    • Possess computer/technology skills for documentation and virtual communication.
