    Echo Vascular Tech Lead

    Join our team in beautiful Key West, Florida, as an Echo/Vascular Technologist Lead. This full-time position offers a housing allowance and a $10K student loan reimbursement.

    Job Description

    • Oversee and perform diagnostic imaging procedures related to echocardiography and vascular sonography.
    • Ensure high-quality imaging services and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Support the training and development of the technologist team.
    • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to deliver accurate diagnostic information.
    • Perform advanced echocardiography and vascular ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate results.
    • Lead a team of technologists, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a high standard of care.
    • Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and patient preparation to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Assist in developing and implementing protocols and procedures for imaging standards.
    • Review and evaluate imaging quality, collaborating with physicians to confirm diagnostic accuracy and effectiveness.
    • Manage equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, coordinating repairs as necessary to ensure minimal downtime.
    • Track and report key performance metrics related to imaging quality, patient throughput, and staff productivity.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

    Requirements

    • Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field required.
    • 3-5 years of experience in echocardiography or vascular sonography required.
    • RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer required or RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Extensive knowledge of echocardiography and vascular imaging techniques and protocols.
    • Leadership skills to mentor and supervise technologists effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail to ensure imaging accuracy and quality.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals.
    • Organizational skills to manage workflow, schedules, and patient care requirements.
